Socialism verses Capitalism
How close is the connection of Liberals and the Democratic ‘pArTy’ to Socialism??? Well, Liberals and the Democratic ‘pArTy’ seem to have a serious problem admitting or revealing or realizing how closely linked they are to Socialism, and so i shall go directly to what Socialism is about…so to speak.
2a) a system of society or group living in which there is no private property b : a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state.
3) a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done.
(Karmic NOTE: the antonym of Socialism is Capitalism.)
So as not to confuse the Liberals and Democrats amongst us at this time, humble me shall skip their closeness to National Socialism, and allow them to continue wallowing happily in their *HATRED* of Capitalism whilst we proceed…so to speak.
Which countries are socialist?
“Which countries are Socialist?” is our most frequently asked question, followed by “What’s the difference between socialism and communism?” We will try to give as short an answer as possible, but short answers usually only raise more questions, so we have added some links.
The Socialist Party campaigns for socialism internationally, and we demonstrate in this reply that those countries which claim to be socialist, or which claimed to be socialist in the past, were not truly socialist. In fact, as we explain in “What About Russia?” a socialist country can not survive on its own surrounded by capitalist countries, but must appeal to the workers and oppressed in other countries to bring about a socialist transformation in their countries as well. Genuine socialists have always explained that socialism must be international.
The Socialist Party’s view
In order to explain our socialist viewpoint more clearly, we have produced a book called Socialism in the Twenty-First Century – the Way Forward for Anti-Capitalism, by Hannah Sell, which is the best introduction to the ideas of socialism today.
The barrier to achieving this is the capitalist system itself. Based as it is on the private ownership of the productive forces (factories, offices, science and technique), capitalism creates immense inequality and deprivation when the potential exists for providing the material components of a decent life for all.
Some of the immediate measures that could be taken include:
1. Eliminating arms spending
2. Sharing out work
3. Ending competition and duplication
Sound familiar yet??? Close *CONNECTION*, huh.
What about the Liberty and/or Freedom of an Individual like a hermit??? i believe it is at this point that the Liberals and Democrats become really confused, especially at the Liberty part, and i attribute this confusion in part to Merriam-Webster. If humble Low and Ignorant Insane me recalls correctly, then the 33rd, 34th, and 35th words of THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION are “Blessings of Liberty”, but skip the “Blessings of…” part, and just run the “Liberty” part through Merriam-Webster’s website – http://www.m-w.com/home.htm
i don’t want to be a part of any local herd, or even a local herdsman herding a local herd, and i most certainly do not want any part dealing with an “international” herd like the UN (BTW, John Kerry is an admitted “Internationalist”)…so to speak of hermits, herds, herdsmen, and such ‘Thangs. Besides, i don’t *HATE* Capitalism like the Liberals, Democrats, Socialists, Communists, and Terrorists (*SUPPORTERS* of Terrorists included in the word Terrorists) do, and in fact i rather enjoy both the Liberty and the Freedom that America has offered. BTW, what is wrong with Capitalism?!? Merriam-Webster’s definition doesn’t sound bad:
Capitalism – an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market.
Run “private” through Merriam-Webster, and then tell me what is wrong with wanting to be an Independent Individual rather than being some part of a Local or International Herd…so to speak.
If America Votes against Socialism, then Americans win a lot. If America Votes for Socialism, then America collapses amongst a ‘Pack of Dogs’…
