Hurricane Katrina recently roared from the Gulf of Mexico and into the ‘Gulf States’ of America. Costs of human lives aside, let us check out some other costs…so to speak.

Once again, i shall be quoting and referencing STRATFOR (Strategic Forecasting Inc.) quite a bit here, especially since i pay them for information. The other day, i received the following email “Red Alert” from STRATFOR (BTW, my first “Red Alert” from them):

The Geopolitics of Katrina

A Category 5 hurricane, the most severe type measured, Katrina has been reported heading directly toward the city of New Orleans. This would be a human catastrophe, since New Orleans sits in a bowl below sea level. However, Katrina is not only moving on New Orleans. It also is moving on the Port of Southern Louisiana. Were it to strike directly and furiously, Katrina would not only take a massive human toll, but also an enormous geopolitical one.

Interpol Wanted Fugitives Posted by Picasa

Finding Fugitives ain’t easy…so to speak of Radovan Karadžić and his July 25, 1995 Indictment.

The Democrat Party and Mainstream Media are quick to mention “President Bush still hasn’t captured Osama bin Laden” or “President Bush should get out of Iraq and focus on capturing Osama bin Laden” or etcetera, but you don’t hear much from them when it comes to the Kosovo Conflict or the still Wanted Radovan Karadžić.
