Michelle Obama trying to ‘Redefine’ herself?!?
: Too Little…Too Late. Sorry, Michelle, but luck wasn’t with you tonight, and you’re still stuck with that “caricature” that had already “sketched” of yourself. You could’ve – and should’ve – just apologized for your many past ‘statements’ about how terrible America is, but you just ignored them, and basically gave a phony sounding speech instead. Soon into your speech tonight, you said:
I come here as a Mom whose girls are the heart of my heart and the center of my world – they’re the first thing I think about when I wake up in the morning, and the last thing I think about when I go to bed at night. Their future – and all our children’s future – is my stake in this election.
You spent years and years as a member of the racist Trinity United Church of Christ. You were married to Barack by the racist Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and allowed that racist to baptize both of your daughters. You allowed the racist Black Liberation Theology doctrine to be taught to both of your daughters. Many Americans are still waiting for you and Barack to explain why you both spent so many years involved with such a racist doctrine, church, and pastor…you left those questions unanswered tonight.
Well, the Chicago Tribune puts it this way – Michelle Obama’s goal: Define herself:
In opening speech, mother, lawyer faces task of defining herself
Michelle Obama likes to describe herself in simple terms—a mother, a lawyer and a wife who grew up in a blue-collar family in a Chicago working-class neighborhood.
The goal for Michelle Obama during this week’s Democratic convention is not all that different from her husband’s: She has to seize the moment and define herself rather than let the sketched by her critics settle in the mind of voters.
Good luck, Michelle, because you are going to need lots of luck in order to change the “caricature” that have already “sketched” of yourself.
Let’s start with these quotes:
“For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country. Because it feels like hope is making a comeback.”
“Before we can work on the problems, we have to fix our souls. Our souls are broken in this nation.”
“As a black man, you know, Barack can get shot going to the gas station.”
“And things have gotten progressively worse throughout my lifetime — through Democratic and Republican administrations — it hasn’t gotten better for regular folks.”
Michelle, condemning America wasn’t a very wise way to ‘make a good first impression’, IMHO. Still, you didn’t stop there…
Obama begins with a broad assessment of life in America in 2008, and life is not good: we’re a divided country, we’re a country that is “just downright mean,” we are “guided by fear,” we’re a nation of cynics, sloths, and complacents. “We have become a nation of struggling folks who are barely making it every day,” she said, as heads bobbed in the pews. “Folks are just jammed up, and it’s gotten worse over my lifetime. And, doggone it, I’m young. Forty-four!”
So, America is just a “downright mean” country, and it keeps getting “worse.”
“You’re getting $600 – what can you do with that? Not to be ungrateful or anything, but maybe it pays down a bill, but it doesn’t pay down every bill every month,” she said. “The short-term quick fix kinda stuff sounds good, and it may even feel good that first month when you get that check, and then you go out and you buy a pair of earrings.”
$600 for a “pair of earrings”!?! Michelle, that reminds me of some of your other similar whining…
“I know we’re spending — I added it up for the first time — we spend between the two kids, on extracurriculars outside the classroom, we’re spending about $10,000 a year on piano and dance and sports supplements and so on and so forth,” Mrs. Obama tells the women. “And summer programs. That’s the other huge cost. Barack is saying, ‘Whyyyyyy are we spending that?’ And I’m saying, ‘Do you know what summer camp costs?’”
Michelle, you are one pathetic excuse of a woman, and I can see no way for you to change what comes so natural for you.
Then, even if you could explain the above ‘Stuff’, how are you ever going to explain spending years and years following that racist Black Liberation Theology doctrine?! And, what about the recent ‘corruption’ and ‘uncaring’ sounding news about you?
In closing – and once again – Good luck, Michelle, because you are going to need lots of luck in order to change the “caricature” that have already “sketched” of yourself.
