Whilst we Americans are holding all kinds of “Hearings” – like the 9-11 Commission hearings, like the Alberto R. Gonzales hearings, like etcetera etcetera etcetera – during a time that we are involved in a War Against Terrorism, in some kind of an attempt to explain why Terrorists were able to Attack us and if our responses are appropriate, humble Low and Ignorant Insane swamp hermit me am reminded of “The Sword of Damocles”…so to speak.

Basically, America’s Left and their puppets in the Mainstream Media seem to want America to fight its Enemies (Terrorists and their *SUPPORTERS*) whilst America has its hands tied in a Nick Berg fashion, and/or whilst America sits beneath its own self created “Damoclean Sword”.

In the recent Attorney General nominee Alberto R. Gonzales’ confirmation hearing, American Democrats sought to portray America as the Torturous Criminals in this War Against Terrorism, whilst they (American Democrats) ignored the past and present actions of the Terrorists and/or the *SUPPORTERS* of Terrorism. Senator Ted “Automobile Boarding” Kennedy tried to portray “Water Boarding” as a form of torture that is worse than beheadings and/or worse than the activities that occurred at the Abu Ghraib prison under Saddam Hussein. The Democrats had witnesses who claimed that – “There’s no reason for torture and Gonzales stands for torture”…witnesses who equated – “our acts of war with the same atrocities committed by those in Iraq who are beheading innocent civilians.” These American Democrats were all set to ‘Crucify’ Alberto R. Gonzales in front of the World…so to speak.

Then Senator Arlen Specter stepped in with this statement: “I want to bring up a delicate subject with you, something that hasn’t come up today, but I want to bring this up because it’s crucially important in the discussions we’re having today about how we’re going to behave in the future. From what I understand from you gentlemen, torture is something to be avoided at all costs. May I present to you the ticking time-bomb analogy? Now, many people have discussed this. I am not sure where I come down on this, but I want to ask you experts where you come down on the ticking time-bomb analogy.”

TIC TOC TIC TOC TIC TOC goes ‘Da Clock that is strapped to ‘Da *BOMB*. You now have some “Torturous Decisions” to make. You and your ‘Anti-Terror Squad’ have just captured a Terrorist in Chicago, on information that said he would be in a hotel room in Chicago, and the informant had even provided the hotel room number. This same Terrorist was watching a video when you and your ‘Anti-Terror Squad’ broke into his hotel room, and he was seated at a desk with his laptop computer running. The video and the laptop has lots of information about a nuclear bomb set to go off in Atlanta, Georgia in one hour. You have captured this Terrorist in Chicago, but you live in Atlanta along with your wife and your three children (baby daughter age six-months, son age three-years, and another daughter age six-years). Your mother is babysitting your youngest two children whilst your wife is at work, and your six-year old daughter is at school. What do you do??? From the information that you have found, a nuclear bomb will go off in one hour, in Atlanta, but you do not know where it is; however, both the Terrorist’s video and laptop computer clearly show how to disarm the nuclear “ticking time-bomb”. TIC TOC TIC TOC TIC TOC goes ‘Da Clock that is strapped to ‘Da *BOMB*.

This brings us back to “The Sword of Damocles”, and to the “excessively flattering courtier” Damocles…so to speak. Now, before humble Low and Ignorant Insane swamp hermit me moves on to Dr. Jack Wheeler, i would request that anyone reading this Karmic Report to now take a moment to change some of the characters from the original – “The Sword of Damocles” tale, and replace them with some modern day characters (Example: changing Damocles to America’s current Democrat Party Leadership) whilst using the following quote from Wikipedia:

“The Sword of Damocles is a frequently used symbolic allusion to this tale, epitomizing the insecurity of those with great power due to the possibility of that power being taken away suddenly, or, more generally, any feeling of impending doom.”

Talk about “Information Overload”, huh. Understanding Mother Nature is much easier…as in Survive or Die. It is claimed that America is now the Earth’s only “Superpower”, and that is probably true; however, there are many other powerful nations and groups here on the Planet Earth who would like to see America destroyed or at least the runt sucking on the “Hind Tit”…so to speak of a teat and such ‘Thangs.

Notice that previous MSNBC/Newsweek article, ‘The Salvador Option’. That article does everything that it can do to portray America (especially Republicans) as nothing more than some “death squads”, much in the same way that the Democrat Party attempts to do during the excessive hearings that they constantly cry for. America’s Left, especially the “Liberals”, are quick to claim that America’s Right, or America’s Conservatives, or America’s Republican Party are nothing more than a bunch of “Nazis”, but Dr. Jack Wheeler says it best:
